No Fixed Address

on September 21, 2019

What do a Westfalia van, a hamster named Horatio and a gnome all have in common? To 12 and
¾ year old Felix Knuttson, they are all important parts of his rapidly changing world. The van is his
home that he shares with his depressed and not always dependable mom. The hamster is named
after the host of his favorite TV quiz show, which with some luck, Felix thinks he could win. Mel is
his steadfast tomte that Felix believes protects he and his mom from all that could go wrong. Life
living in a van isn’t easy and Felix must keep his living arrangement a secret, from everyone, even
his best friends. Can Felix find a solution to his family crisis before it is too late?

The book No Fixed Address is about a boy named Felix. Felix and his mom are homeless. He only sees his dad a couple times a year. He lives in a van with his mom. His mom wasn’t the best mom but she tried her best. I liked the book. My favorite part of the book is the ending. I recommend this book.

My favorite part is the ending because he won the contest but he wasn’t old enough to get the money which is sad.

The title of my book is: No fixed address

This book is about a boy named Felix. He lives in a van with his mom and gerbil. He has to use his mom’s old friend’s address to get him into a good school, in school he reunites with his old friend Dylan and is now friends with a girl named Winnie.

There’s a game show that Felix really loves, so he tried to play on live television. You have to read it yourself if you want to know if Felix wins the big cash prize that would change his life. I think it’s a very good book because it shows that your friends should support your lifestyle. It shows how real friends and family should act and how much little things can change someone’s life.

I really liked “No Fixed Address”, which is about a boy who lives in a van with his mother, and goes through many things because of not having a real home. He enters a contest for kids to test their skills on all sorts of different facts. He’s in it for the cash prize, which is thousands of dollars. I think the book is really good because he struggles through real life problems and how much he tried to fit in with his friends and school. I highly recommend.

No fixed address is an interesting book about a boy named Felix who is homeless and goes through many adventures with his friends and keeps many secrets in order to be normal, just like he wants. When he goes to his favorite game show, he hopes to win the money and finally be normal without having to pretend.

I think this book was written greatly. It has amazing imagery, and the characters are so special in their own way. Felix is an amazing character, and so is Astrid, Felix’s mother. I understood more of what it felt like to be homeless and desperate while reading this book, and it really gives you the chills sometimes. This book is one of my favorites, and I love how the ending turned out. There are some parts that I think I definitely relate to most, and I love that about this book. I would recommend this book to people who like: happiness, and crime and other emotions I think you may relate too as well, thank you.

    No fixed address

No Fixed Address is an amazing read that is very suspenseful. It is a quick read, yet still had a great story line. The beginning is very suspenseful. It begins with the ending then over the course of the story it flashes back to the main character Felix’s recent past so you find out how he got to where he is when the book opens. I hope it makes people realize that they are lucky. Becoming homeless can happen to anyone. I recommend this book to anyone who loves quick reads but wants a good story line.

It was a pretty good book, but the ending was kind of depressing. Felix, the main character went through a lot of stuff because he was homeless. His mom wasn’t always honest but tried to be a good mom and he only gets to see his dad a couple times a year. They live in a van and don’t have a shower or a toilet so they don’t have much privacy. I think you should read this book because the main character is a great person to read about.

No Fixed Address is a great book because it has a real life challenge and could happen to anyone. I really enjoyed the part where he goes on to the trivia show and everyone comes to watch him and people see him on live TV at home. I also like how the book is a quick read but it is a stretched out story. I really enjoyed No Fixed Address and I recommend it.
