Bob

on September 21, 2019

It’s been five years since Livy last visited her grandmother in Australia – and when she finally
returns she finds Bob, a greenish zombie-like creature in a chicken suit, who has been obediently
waiting in her closet all this time. (He’s spent the years crying and building Lego pirate ships.) A tale
of friendship, love, and magic, told in the alternating voices of Livy and Bob.

I loved Bob. Normally I don’t gravitate to fantasy books, but this was a winner.

I really like the lists that Bob makes because they give you an idea about how Bob thinks.

I absolutely loved this book. It was adventure-filled and exciting, It was exciting to see her go back to her grandma’s house and remember what it was like when she was five, with a hint of mystery. Because Livvy and Bob have no idea who Bob’s parents are they set out to find his parents. This book is great for a short, but fun, read.

This book was really good and I don’t like many books. I really liked the way the story switched perspectives between the two main characters. Bob is a very unique character. I like that the book was adventurous and had a mystery. At first Livvy had to figure out who Bob is. Later in the book they go on an adventure with happy results for Bob.

Bob was a very interesting book. In Bob the main character’s name is Livy. Ten year old Livy is from Massachusetts and in the story she is headed to Australia to visit her grandmother. She hasn’t been to her grandmother’s house for five years and when she gets there she goes upstairs to see her room. When Livy opens the closet she discovers something inside and his name is Bob. She finds out that he has been waiting for five years for her to come back. I thought it was funny all the things he did things to occupy his time while he waited, for example, he counted to 987,654,321 sixty times. Bob and Livy have many great adventures while they try to find Bob’s home. If you are trying to decide if you want to read this book, I would definitely recommend reading it.

Bob is a very interesting book. It’s about a 10 year old girl named Livy who visits her grandmother in Australia. She hasn’t been there for five years and she finds a creature named Bob who has been in the closet for five years, since her last visit, waiting for her to come back. For five years. Bob sat in the closet and counted to 987,654,321 six times, Bob also taught himself how to read by reading the dictionary. When Livy got back she didn’t recognize Bob at all. Read this book to see what happens next.

Bob is a very well written book. There was a lot of dialogue and it was very detailed. I like when Livy comes back to Australia and finds Bob has been waiting in the closet for five years. I also really liked how Livy doesn’t remember anything from when she visited last. I really enjoyed the book and I recommend it.
