This is an informative non-fiction book on some of the animals that are on the brink of extinction. The author Nancy F. Castaldo writes this story as if it were a documentary, you can easily picture every word in your mind. There’s beautiful pictures of each animal in the book and they are very well taken. My favorite part from Back From The Brink is when Nancy F. Castaldo writes about how you can help save all the animals, even the ones not mentioned in the book. The information has real facts and has many quotes from real wildlife experts. Nancy F. Castaldo visits all the places where people are working to save these animals and what they are doing to save them. Some of the ideas that are actually happening are really genius ideas.

I think this book could be better because it is a list of several animals and how they were saved from extinction and a bunch of facts {bolth about the animals and not}. I can’t be too hard on this book beacase it tells you about the endangerd species act and I thought that was cool. They also told about you the places where the people worked. That was cool too. What I also thought was cool were the wolves, because I love wolves. Overall it was meh (for me at least).
