I didn’t even finish this, it seemed to drag on and on. Sure there were a few attacks or weird visions every once in a while, and there were some times when I was holding my breath, but I don’t think it was as well written as it could have been.

Hmm, sounds as though fantasy may not be your genre. Have you tried Storm Runners or Amelia Lost?– Kate Davie

This is my second favorite DCF book even though I have many. I chose The Silver Bowl where Molly and Donkey boy (Tobias) save Prince Alaric from the curses that await him around every corner . With the help of Molly’s friend Winifred they are able to save Prince Alaric from the curses that await him. When Molly and Donkey boy fall in the Silver Bowl with the silver man they risk their lives to save Prince Alaric and the rest of the kingdom.

I loved the way the curse was never what you expected. It always surprised me.

This book is my favorite DCF book so far. Molly is an awesome character. Alaric reminds me of King Arthur.

I love this book! When a young girl named Molly meets Tobias the ‘donkey boy’ and later a 16 year old prince named Alaric it spins them through a world of evil and mystries! I recommend this book to anyone who loves a curse filled fantasy

I am going to be looking for any excuse I can find to use the phrase, “curse filled fantasy”! — Kate Davie

I love the part in this book where they are having the funeral for one of the royal family members and something major disrupts it. That was my favorite part of the book because it seemed very interesting. The wolves were a great touch.

The Silver Bowl was a great book and kept me hooked through the whole read. It is probably my favorite on the DCF list so far. The author really went into detail with each individual character and twisted the story so you never knew what was coming next. I definitely recommend to anyone interested in medieval times, fantasy, and a suspenseful read.

This book was quite exciting. Fantasy isn’t my favorite genre but, this book was full of breath taking moments. Especially the parts you worry about Alaric! Pretty good book…you should read this book if you like fantasy.
