I think that a cat that likes cheese is cool and I wish I could teach my cat to like cheese!

Our favorite part of this book is when we relized the cat liked cheese, especially Cheshire cheese. We recommend this book if you like adventure and hearing all the different kind of cheese names. They sound wierd!

I thought the book was good. It was very funny because one of the main characters was a cat who didn’t chase or eat mice, and the other main character was a mouse who didn’t eat cheese. The Cheshire Cheese Cat by Carman Agra Deeby & Randall Wright was well written and was well illustrated.

I personally didn’t really like this book. It took me a long time to get into it and to read it. I really liked the Charles Dickens parts though, they were pretty cool. Still, this book was probably one of my least favorite books on the DCF list…

Well, it makes sense that if you’re going to have a favorite, you’ll have to have a least favorite. I’m glad you enjoyed the Dickens references anyway! — Kate Davie

This is a fantastic book because it has great friendships. It’s funny that the cat eats cheese and the his friend Pip helps him. All the Kids at St. J should read this book.

Do you think other kids should read this book too? — Kate Davie

This book was o.k. I liked how friendship was woven into it also, the parts about Charles Dickens were very good. The reason this wasn’t my favorite book is because it is fantasy. Famntasy is one of my least favorite genres. Still, I would reccomend this book to anyone who likes fantasy books.
