This book was very interesting. It made Addie think about who her true friends were and it made me think about that too.

Addie on the Inside is a nice book to read, but I found it hard to write school papers about. Maybe it’s because I am not familiar with poetry stories. I’m nervous about seventh grade now because I don’t want to hear people use that kind of language. Do a lot of schools have those kinds of seventh graders?

I haven’t read this one yet, so I don’t know exactly how mean Addie’s classmates were. But in my experience, every school has some nice, friendly, seventh graders, and a few who may not be so friendly. Most Vermont schools are smaller than the ones that you find in most novels about schools, so it’s easier for everyone to keep an eye on everyone else. I thought ‘Addie On The Inside’ was an interesting book and the way the author wrote it was really poetic and inspiring, but I also really enjoyed the way Addie’s grandmother gave her [Addie] hope in every way possible.

Interesting form is used by the author. I really like the grandmother and the wonderful relationship she shared with Addie.

Adie on the inside I didn’t like it because it had weird stuff in it But any body reads it that’s just my taste in the book. It talked about boy’s a lot.

Addie on the inside is very girly and a little strange but if your looking for a short read to score points for your class go for it!

When you say, “very girly,” what does that mean? — Kate Davie

I like this book a lot because it’s kind of like reality. It’s based on real people, and I like historical and realistic fiction.

I think that when people hear about a book in poetic for it just doesn’t sound very interesting. Reading Addie On The Inside really got me exited about poetry form books. If it’s written well it sends a strong message in less words. The author did a really nice job giving Addie a realistic seventh grade life. I really enjoyed reading this book!

That is a very persuasive review! — Kate Davie

I finished ‘Addie on the Inside’ a couple of days ago. I didn’t think I would enjoy it but, I was wrong. It turned out I liked how it was written in a poetic way! You should read this book if you like realistic fiction (my favorite genre)

I have just started to read ‘Addie On The Inside’ and I love it so far. I like how it is in poetry form, it makes the book a quick read. I like how on almost every page there is a different title for a different poem. I can’t wait to finish it and see how it ends! :)

This book is by far one of my most favorite out of many books. The way it’s written is absolutely genius! It really shows how it feels around this age in school, and how confusing life can really be!!
