I loved this book because of the exciting twists and unexpected turns. I like to be surprised by the ending.

I Think the author used the line from the gravestone to introduce the ghosts so you could know what time period they came from, an to know their full name. and because Bod copies the headstones for Mrs. Lupescu’s teaching sessions.
When Silas says at the end of the book “I was once a monster” that implied on me that he might have been one of the Jacks, but just not to the other Jacks knowledge.

I though the book was very confusing the whole way through. I did not get it. It was kind of boring.

The Graveyard Book is so good that I got up early this morning to read the ending. Bod, Silas, and the Owens couple hold a sweet place in my heart. I’m watching my back for a Jack!

I would certainly recommend that you give it another try, it’s worth the effort. Or, maybe you could visit the author’s website at http://www.mousecircus.com/videotour.aspx and hear him read the whole thing out loud.

I loved how not all of the book was fight scenes and it was more about his life in the graveyard.

i would recommend you read this book agian too. being a reading freak myself, (i will openly admit that), i must say even i re-read. i loved this book because it takes a somewhat scary place and makes it not-so-scary. also, fantasy is my type of book. i recommend this book to people of all ages ( besides babies, of coarse).

It was really sad when the parents got killed, but I loved how the ghost took hold of the child! The child was smart to get out of the crib and leave. I would read and read this again!

I think that it was overall a good book. I really enjoyed it. My favorite part was at the end when he . . . It was the start of life on his own.

Hey, Esther, sorry to mess with your post, but your e-mail address didn’t work, and I didn’t want to totally give away the ending. I’m glad you liked it. I enjoyed it a lot, but the students at my school aren’t having as much fun with it as I did.
