My brother just read it and he loves it. So far, at my school library, the most popular books are The Hunger Games, Shift, and The Other Side of The Island.

I think this is one of the best DCF books there is! It is full of adventure and its sort of a realistic story. I would reccomend this book to anybody.

Sorry, gecko, but this is a little hangup of mine, so I can’t resist pointing out that “swear” is a verb. If a book has a lot of something, the things have to be a noun. So it would be more accurate to say the book has a lot of swear words — those are nouns.
Thanks for the titillating post! I thought that the way the book points out how a person can become cool was a more interesting aspect of it than the semi-naughty language, but to each his own.

I disliked this book strongly because it seemed to go sooooo sloooooow. I read the first half of the book than decided to find a more appealing book. Now I am reading Shooting the Moon. Much better choice.

Moose Man — I really like this book. I thought the characters were engaging, the flashback elements added suspense, and I especially liked how the bikers changed from being kind of nerdy to pretty cool guys. What exactly was it that you didn’t like?
