After Marvin, a beetle, makes a miniature drawing as an eleventh birthday gift for James, a human with whom he shares a house, the two new friends work together to help recover an Albrecht Dürer drawing stolen from the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

I loved mom and dad Beetle! It is so refreshing to read about oversupportive parents for a change.

Marvin has a really insteresting tallent. I like the book, it was a good book to read on a rainy day. I think Marvin was vary brave when he found out were the stolen drawings were, and who stole them. Marvin sloved one of the prefect crimes.

I wish I could go on all of the life throttling adventures Marvin got to go on through out this book, it was so amazing! My favorite chrarecter was James; he sounds so cute and shy, a kid coming out of his shell.

This book was a great book to read and was full of suspence. I loved the that main character was a beetle. Masterpiece was the first DCF i read and it was wonderful.

I like masterpiesebecause it didnt leave me haning when the chapter was done.It also was agood book because it gives alot of imformation.

I didn’t rwally like it because i didn’t think there wasn’t much detail so i didn’t get the book that well but my yonger sister loves this book!

Yes, I believe that most, if not all, of the book takes place in New York City.

I loved this book! It was really cool when the bug went down to get the contact lense.The mom feels weird because the contact lense is sitting on the conter when she comes into the bathroom!

Masterpeice is a really good book. It was definitly a page turner. When you find out that the bug can… it makes you really want to keep reading. I would definitly recomend Masterpeice by Elise Broach. I would also recomend all the other books by Elise Broach.

I think that masterpeice is a great book. it’s about a family of beetles. I know your like what? a family of beetles that sounds sooo lame . But it’s not, it’s actually a really good book. everyone should read it I think!!!!!!

i think the auther did a really, really good job of pulling the reader in at the begining because it sertinly pulled me in. I also think that the chapters are stopped right in place because it alwasy make you wasnt to keep reading the book . have fun reading!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really disagree with WAFFLE GIRL 245. I only read the beginning, but the first like ten chapters were great!
